Life feels a bit like a game of rock, paper, scissors at times – unpredictable. For many of us, times are tough right now. It’s easy to feel weighed down by everything happening around us. But even when things seem uncertain, there’s always a reason to keep moving forward, to live for today, and to believe in the magic of what’s possible.
BUSY BEING BUSY
Living this mindset every day is my goal. I’m writing a book, pouring my heart into every word on the paper. Also juggling full time work and growing my little greeting card business. And then there’s the children and the house. Some days, it feels like a lot! There are moments when the weight of everything feels too heavy to carry. But then I remind myself that I have to keep going, even when it’s hard.
TAKE ME HOME
I can’t wait to go back to Wales next year, to my homeland, where I can spend time with family and friends and be there when my brother’s baby arrives. It’s these moments that remind me what life is really about—love, connection, and the joy of being present with the people who matter most. I’m so excited to share that time with them, to soak up new memories and be part of something I’ve missed for so long.
SHOW UP AND KEEP MOVING
So, no matter how tough things get, let’s remember that life is about showing up, even when it’s hard. We have to make every moment count, just like in a game of rock, paper, scissors. The rules are simple: make your choice and face whatever comes next. Sometimes, we’ll be like the rock – strong and steady, ready to face anything. Other times, we might feel like paper – vulnerable but adaptable, able to wrap around challenges and keep moving. And sometimes, we need to be the scissors – sharp and decisive, ready to cut through obstacles in our way.
Life will throw different hands at us, and we may not always win, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t keep playing. It’s about having the courage to choose our next move, knowing that no matter what, we’re in control of how we respond. So let’s embrace the uncertainty, make bold choices, and live for today. We never know what’s around the corner, but that’s what makes life worth playing.
